It's all of the above, capsicum pepper has become, after salt, the most frequently used seasoning agent and condiment in the world and an important fresh vegetable throughout the temperate zones. Capsicum cookery is found not only in Mexico, the American Southwest, the Caribbean, and most points South, but also in the far East, Africa, the Balkans, the Mediterranean, Korea, capsicums certainly must have what it takes to have earned such veneration as a culinary ingredient in so many varied cuisines.

Casco Produce is located in the state of Sonora, in the northwest of the Mexican Country.

Sonora borders with Arizona to the north, Chihuahua to the east, Baja California to the west, and Sinaloa to the south.

Hermosillo is located in the central part of the coast of Sonora, its climate is arid and dry with an average of annual temperature of 73.4ºF (23ºC) to above 104ºF (40ºC) during the Summer.

The annual rain fall average is 14.311 inches (363.5 mm) so the relative humidity in this region is low. Its altitude varies from 0 to 656 ft . (0 to 200 mts) at sea level, this coastal region is plane with a decline of 1.5 % to  3.0%, the soil texture ranges from sandy loam to loam, generally with very good drainage.
